This delicious homemade hemp chocolate milk is ultra easy, done within 5 minutes, super healthy and made using only 3 simple ingredients. No strainer or soaking required! It yields a super creamy plant-based milk that has a bold dark chocolate flavor and that's also sweetened using dates (no added granulated sugar). Enjoy for breakfast, snacking, as a post-workout refreshment or anytime you feel like a treat.
If not using a high-speed blender, then I recommend to first soak the dates in boiling water for 5-10 minutes.
In a blender, add the hemp seeds, cacao powder, dates and water. Blend on high until smooth.
Pour in a storing glass container and transfer to the fridge. The milk can be served right away, although better enjoyed cold.

Notes
Keep the milk in a sealed glass container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Shake well before serving.
You can also use maple syrup instead of dates to sweeten the milk, especially if you don't have a high-speed blender.
Other ingredients you can add to your milk include vanilla extract, cinnamon, turmeric or a spoonful of peanut butter.
