This crisp and zesty blueberry lavender lemonade is such a nice treat to enjoy all year around to help you stay hydrated or to cool off on a hot summer day. Made simply with blueberries, fresh lemons, dried lavender buds and a little sweetener, it is easy to make and healthy too!
Bring the water to a boil in a small pot and then remove from the heat. Add the lavender buds, stir and cover. Let them steep for about 10 minutes. You can also transfer to the fridge for a few minutes so the lemonade is nice and chilled.
To a blender, add the lemon juice, blueberries and maple syrup (start with less and add more as needed). Then, place a fine-mesh colander over the blender and pour the lavender water over. Discard the lavender buds and blend on high until smooth, then taste and adjust sweetener.
Add about ½ cup of ice cubes to a tall serving glass and pour the blueberry lemonade over. You can decorate with more blueberries and a few slices of lemon. Enjoy!

Notes
The lemonade can be kept in the fridge for 2-3 days.
Adjust flavor to your taste by adding more lemon juice or sweetener if needed.
You can also make a bubbly lemonade: to your serving glass, add half the lemonade and top it off with sparkling water or soda water. This would give you 2 sparkly lemonades.
