This quick and easy vanilla smoothie bowl is so delicious and tastes like ice cream! It makes for such an amazing healthy breakfast or snacking recipe that's filling and very satisfying, thanks to the addition of rolled oats and hemp seeds. Fully vegan, dairy-free and naturally gluten-free.
1cupice cubesor more frozen banana or 100G of frozen coconut smoothie pack (1 package)
Instructions
To a blender, add the rolled oats, hemp seeds, milk, yogurt and vanilla extract. Let it sit and soak in the blender for at least 10 minutes (this will help soften and blend the oats).
Then, add the frozen bananas and ice cubes and blend until smooth. If you have a Vitamix, then use the tamper to help blend the thick mixture. If you have a regular blender, then you will need to take a few breaks and use a spatula to mix and bring the thick smoothie mixture back towards the blades. Be patient and try to avoid adding more liquid.
Scoop into 2 bowls and top with your favorite topping ingredients, such as granola, berries, hemp seeds, chia seeds, cacao nibs, peanut butter, etc.

This smoothie bowl needs to be enjoyed right away. If you do have extra smoothie mixture, then freeze using an ice cube tray and use in your smoothies!
