This vibrant pink latte is nutrient-rich, super smooth and delicious and can help you stay energized for the day even without any caffeine. It features nutrient-rich raw beet powder (easy to find online), a touch of cacao powder, sweet & rich vanilla extract and plant-based milk for a dairy-free cozy drink.
Add the raw beetroot powder, cacao powder and cinnamon to a mug and set aside.
Warm up the milk in a small sauce pan until steamy hot (but do not boil).
Pour about 1-1 ¼ cup of the hot milk in the mug and add the sweetener and vanilla extract. Stir well to dissolve the powder.
Froth the remaining warm milk right into the sauce pan until thick and foamy to your liking. I use a hand held frother to do this.
Scoop or pour the foam over the mug and serve while still hot. Enjoy!

Notes
Feel free to add more spices to your latte such as nutmeg, chai spices mix, turmeric, etc. You can also add some coconut cream for a creamier latte.
To froth the milk, if you don't have an electric hand held frother, then simply gather the ingredients in a blender and blend on high for a 30-60 seconds. This will create some foam that also works well in a pinch. Check out my vanilla matcha latte to see how I make a latte using a blender!
